Somedays you can't win for losing. Just ask Keston Hiura. He was the King of Swing in the game against the Reds, but his Braves were beaten 13-2 anyway.
The Atlanta second baseman stepped into the batter's box 5 times against the Cincinnati and delivered 5 hits.
It was a sensational game for him. He excitedly told the press, "Unbelieveable feeling. Unbelieveable. It felt good. It felt great on the one hand, but a downer at the same time. What a day! 5 for 5! It does wonders for your batting average. But it's a shame we couldn't win it, too."
K. Hiura hit a solo-shot off B. Snell in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This season Hiura has hit at a .291 clip with 75 RBIs, 15 home runs and 125 runs scored. He has played in 149 games.

 | Monday, September 5th, 2033: Lane on a Hot Streak, NL Player of the Week
This week's Player of the Week was Zak Lane of the Cincinnati Reds.
He battered National pitching for 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs, and 16 RBIs while hitting .500 and scoring 6 runs.
Lane is batting .274 with 20 home runs and 84 RBIs this season.

| Sunday, September 4th, 2033: Reds Shut Out Pirates, Snell Winner
Cincinnati's Blake Snell breezed through the Pirates lineup today, collecting a 6-hit shutout and a 4-0 victory along the way. Snell fanned 5 as well.
"I didn't really feel like I had my game today," Snell confessed, "but some days are like that -- you just gotta go with what you have."
In 25 starts this season Snell has rung up a 6-11 record and a 5.36 ERA.
