Raúl Rodríguez had to leave the Dodgers game against San Francisco after suffering a strained back muscle while throwing a pitch. He will be out of the lineup at least 2 weeks. He told SION reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong."
This season Rodríguez has a 5-8 mark in 18 starts with a 7.47 ERA. He has given up 154 hits in 127.2 innings, struck out 93 and issued 54 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .297 batting average against him.

| Wednesday, September 14th, 2033: 5-Hits Blitz by Los Angeles's Hernandez!
Teoscar Hernandez of the Dodgers was unstoppable in today's 12-1 victory over the Atlanta Braves at Dodger Stadium. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Los Angeles center fielder after the game. "All I had to do was swing, and I connected. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will."
T. Hernandez hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a three-run double in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
This year Hernandez is batting .284 with 125 hits, 18 home runs, 84 RBIs, 78 walks, .394 OBP and has scored 82 runs.

| Wednesday, September 7th, 2033: Los Angeles Whitewashes Oakland
"He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said the Oakland manager after watching Eddie Gordon of the Los Angeles Dodgers humiliate his club 9-0 in a fine 5-hit shutout.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Gordon said after he befuddled the Athletics. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
He whiffed 5 and walked 1 in the complete game effort.
In the current season in 10 starts, Eddie Gordon has a record of 4-3 with 33 strikeouts in 58 innings and a 5.90 ERA.
