Saturday, October 1st, 2022: Taylor Brings Home AL Batter of Month Honor
Toronto's right fielder Chris Taylor brought home the American batting trophy for September by hitting .342 for the month.

He also hit 12 home runs, drove in 37 and scored 31 runs.

In 152 games this season Taylor has batted at a .346 pace with 220 hits and 53 home runs.
Monday, September 12th, 2022: Hicks on the Attack, Player of the Week
This week he let his bat do the talking. That's why Aaron Hicks of the Toronto Blue Jays was named the American Player of the Week.

For the week the 30-year-old left fielder batted .481 (13-27) with 3 home runs, 7 runs and 11 RBIs.

Currently Hicks is hitting .309 and has collected 45 home runs, 134 RBIs and scored 102 times, while playing in 130 games.
Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022: Blue Jays Center Fielder Hurt
Watching Ben Gamel getting helped off the field today at Skydome, fans of the Toronto Blue Jays feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the center fielder will miss 2 weeks with a fractured wrist. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Gamel suffered the injury making a defensive play in the game against the Mariners.

In 2022 Gamel is batting .331 with 168 hits, 10 home runs, 71 RBIs, 79 walks, .423 OBP and has scored 84 runs. He has played in 119 games.
